Five university partners recruit and select undergraduates as Schaeffer Fellows each year. They assist Fellows in identifying high-level internships at the local, state, and federal levels of government.
The Schaeffer Fellows Portal is operated by the Leonard D. Schaeffer Fellows in Government Service program through Hivebrite. The Portal is offered to you conditioned on acceptance of the terms and conditions. In this professional community, please act responsibly and honestly. Members should refrain from sharing any personal information shared with you via the Portal including but not limited to physical location, personal email, or address, unless given explicit permission. If you see something that you believe may violate our policies, please report it to us.
The Leonard D. Schaeffer Fellows program reserves the right to access content provided to verify a user's program affiliation. Personal information we collect will depend upon the services you use, how you use them, and what you choose to provide. The types of data we collect from you may include: name, address, telephone number, email address. Optional information, such as photographs, that you elect to share will be stored by the program. We do not have the ability to view private messages sent within the Portal. The Schaeffer Fellows program reserves the right to use any photograph uploaded to the online portal in future publications, website, and other promotional products.
